Jefferson Street Inn

A great location. Beautiful, clean rooms. The pool and sauna were relaxing and open extra hours. Delicious breakfast at a reasonable rate. I would certainly come back.

We just needed a room for the night, we were headed to Lake Suoerior but wanted dinner at Lemongrass next door. What a lovely hotel. Big room, comfy bed, super quiet even though the hotel was nearly full, and in the heart of the downtown shopping area. We'll be back! Meagan at the front desk night and morning was our special light in the darkness when we were lost.

We booked a hotel room block with the Jefferson Street Inn for our wedding and all of our guests had the best time enjoying the hotel and it's connectivity and proximity to downtown Wausau! This is the best place to be able to do so much fun stuff on foot. Additionally, we were hooked up with the most amazing bridal suite with so much space, a steam room, and amazing views of Rib Mountain! All of the staff were very responsive to any questions we had prior to our stay, spot on with details when we arrived, and very sweet and friendly. The Jefferson Street Inn went above and beyond to make us and our guests comfortable and helped everyone to have a superb wedding weekend. Highly recommend!

We often stay at the Jefferson to see shows at the Grand Theater, which is within walking distance. Also, my husband has had many eye procedures and surgeries, and the Eye Clinic is just down the road. The hotel is clean, and the staff is helpful. Hotel parking is a problem. If you want to park in the lot, you have to be here around check-in time. The lot fills fast. After that, you have to walk to the parking garage or another lot. They offer breakfast for $12 a plate, and it really wasn't all that good. It would be good if it was free. We prefer the Mint Cafe for breakfast. We usually stay in a normal room, but there was none available, so we forked over the money to stay in this suite.

We recently had the most exceptional hospitality from check in to check out! GM Christopher Stamm made an amazing gesture to help make a gift to relatives even more special for their stay. Meghan at reception was so very patient with our frequent questions and repeating directions for us as we wandered through the hotel enjoying all the Christmas decor. Emily picked up on our uncertain expressions while wondering if we go left or right to the pool and watched to make sure we were on track. Marquis made the best Martini for our pre show cocktail. All bar and restaurant staff were great. Cari in housekeeping is a true asset to JSI. Cari gave us great pointers for future visits and suite options and was extremely conscientious in "fluffing" our suite. Can't thank you ALL enough!

The rooms were clean and spacious, staff welcoming and friendly, excellent location and the BEST food on site! Would highly recommend and we will be back to sure!

We very much appreciated the convience of the parking and spacious accomodations. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this spot to others passing through this area.

This hotel is very clean and spacious. The premier suite has a full living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The size is perfect. The location was about 10 mins. from Granite Peak ski resort. The room was advertised with a full free breakfast included however they only give you a $12 credit for breakfast which included 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast and coffee. The only other negative is the super small shower, not nearly enough space to move around. The pool and hot tub were very nice after a day of skiing!! Free parking at the garage across the street.
